The members of Baker Tilly network are recognized partners in auditing the projects of both the World Bank and the European Community.
Baker Tilly network originates from England and its history can be traced back to 1870, when the firm of Walter Howard was established. Since then the firm has grown and merged with many different audit firms. Baker Tilly was introduced as trademark in 1988 through a merger between audit firms Baker Rooke and Howard Tilly.
How does the network work?
Baker Tilly Baltics OÜ is an independent member of Baker Tilly International. Baker Tilly International Limited is an English company. Baker Tilly International provides no professional services to clients. Each member firm is a separate and independent legal entity and each describes itself as such. Baker Tilly Baltics OÜ is not Baker Tilly International’s agent and does not have the authority to bind Baker Tilly International or act on Baker Tilly International’s behalf. None of Baker Tilly International, Baker Tilly Baltics OÜ, nor any of the other member firms of Baker Tilly International has any liability for each other’s acts or omissions. The name Baker Tilly and its associated logo is used under licence from Baker Tilly International Limited.
Each firm within the network can provide their clients local support through Baker Tilly offices in other countries worldwide. Services are provided according to the principle that coordination of work of auditors or consultants in different countries should be the duty of Baker Tilly, not the client.
The network has various committees and working groups worldwide.The employees of the firmswithin the network are also offered international training programmes. Network firms have close mutual cooperation.
Cooperation between the Baltic States
We have strong contacts with Baker Tilly network Latvian and Lithuanian firms. The four offices in the Baltic region have the total of 45 employees.
